Thailand - Tandem Jumps & AFF Courses. Opening Soon!

We have been waiting for some news for quite a while now about our partner Thailand DZ having all the paperwork necessary to open a DZ near Pattaya.

The plane is ready to go, the pilot is in Pattaya and everything is in place, we just need a signature on the skydiving permit.
The skydiving permit is with the minister of transport but because of the recent change of government (in December) there is now a "Delay". The DZ is in contact with the DCA office and will let us know as soon as they have the permit signed off.

Extreme Sports Cafe's new partner Drop Zone near Pattaya in Thailand will be open seven day a week and also over Christmas for qualified jumpers. The DZ is located just 25min outside of Pattaya in Sri Racha.This will be the only operational civilian Drop Zone in South East Asia. (At last)The DZ is USPA affiliated but do expect to be able to cater to BPA as they have BPA rated staff.

Tandem Skydive 9,500THB - To do a Tandem Skydive requires no experience but there are weight restrictions.
The maximum weight for a Tandem Skydive is 100Kilos. (fully clothed)

We operate in partnership with the team at CPCB (Centro de Paracaidismo Costa Brava) located in Northern Spain at Empuriabrava, north of Barcelona. Ideally located on the Mediterranean coastline and on the foothills of the Pyrenees.

It is not only cheap when you get there, but its cheap to get there (EasyJet & Go offer great prices to Barcelona whilst Ryanair do cheap flights to Perpignan). ESC can offer competitive rates for car hire and accommodation in Spain with their travel partners. We will soon offer complete Fly-Drive packages. Ask for details.

The weather is great for skydiving all year round (unlike the UK!). Our skydive courses here offer the very best value and can’t be beaten on price, back home.

The British Parachute Association was established to organise, govern and further the advancement of parachuting in the UK. In order to skydive at a BPA affiliated drop zone in the UK, you must have been on a BPA approved course, given by BPA Rated Instructors.

Kevin McCarthy & his team are British Parachute Association Rated Instructors, so the qualifications you attain in Spain are valid world-wide meaning you will be able to jump when you return home and ensuring you won’t have to complete a costly conversion course.

We offer Tandem Skydives, Introduction to Free Fall courses and the full Accelerated Free Fall program, as well as skydive coaching, equipment hire and full skydiving holidays...

The Accelerated Free Fall course costs €1,565.

Our Tandem Skydives here cost around €185/€195 depending on the season.(You can add video and camera as extra cost options to the jump, or simply do your tandem skydive and enjoy the experience... Spain – Tandem Jumps & AFF Courses - Near Seville.

Our new Drop Zone near Seville, or Sevilla, is a new addition to the Extreme Sports Cafe stable.

This summer during the hot season, we will have the single turbine engine SMG working at the dropzone. It looks very similar to a Pilatus Porter, however it climbs quicker (15,000ft in 13 minutes), has a left door exit, holds 10 people and has a huge float rail to launch big groups.
Our Dornier G92 will return to Spain in the autumn when the main season picks up. Based at Target Skysports for the British summer, this aircraft climbs to altitude in 12 minutes and can hold 15 people.

In Seville we offer both Tandem Skydive experiences, as well as full AFF courses. You can also book your Tandem skydive online.

Our Tandem Skydives in Seville cost €225 (You can add video and camera as extra cost options to the jump, or simply do your tandem skydive and enjoy the experience... We also operate in partnership with the team at Paragon Skydiving who are based at Errol Airfield, Grange, Errol. The drop zone is situated mid way between Perth and Dundee on the banks of the Firth of Tay.
Paragon Skydiving Club is located on an airfield, originally used during the Second World War.
The site has been used as a parachuting drop zone since 1988 and the professional skydiving school has been there for 3 years. The facilities provide everything you need to learn to skydive in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment.

The team operate 7 days a week from morning to dusk & are based in Hibaldstow, North Lincolnshire – just off the M180, between Doncaster & Grimsby.
Whilst most of the dropzones we work with will take you to an altitude of 13,000 feet, the team at Target are rather unique – they take the aircraft up an additional 2,000 feet & you’ll exit the aircraft at 15,000 feet, which means a little longer in freefall ;-)

1962 was the year that the APA was formed, and it has gone from strength to strength since that date to become the premier parachuting club in this country. The APA was primarily a military club but has been open to civilians for many years. It is probably the oldest parachute club in the world and is the centre where parachuting, as a sport, was born in the U.K. Not many clubs have a pedigree going back to the very early days of freefall parachuting!

The Cornwall Parachute Centre has been affiliated to the British Parachute Association for its 26 years of operation. During that time they have trained and jumped many people from all walks of life and all age groups. A number have gone on to become international champions.

The centre has excellent training facilities, modern equipment, good food and a friendly atmosphere.

If you want to skydive in the Midlands, we’ll hook you up with the team at Hinton. Situated near Banbury and Silverstone, on the Oxford/Northampton border, the dropzone is available to jump at Tuesday – Sunday each week and Bank Holidays and is only 10 minutes from Junction 11 on the M40.

The team there will ensure you have a safe but fun jump.

Of particular interest – last year, the team at Hinton broke the British Record for the number of Tandem Jumps in one day (from one aircraft). The new record, which beat the old one by 10 jumps now stands at 136!!

So, what’s it to be and where’s good for you?

A Tandem Jump: where you can be in the air and jumping out of a plane strapped to an instructor quicker than you can say 'I'm not sure about this....'

Or perhaps an A.F.F. (Accelerated FreeFall) Course: where on your first jump you leap out of a plane 2.5 miles up in the air with two highly experienced instructors, quickly followed by your cameraman.

Extreme Sports Café is now pleased to offer Heli-Skydiving Packages for groups of 10-15 in the Swiss Alps. The jumps are done over a super landscape and are certainly more rewarding than jumping the whole day over a normal airfield. Tandem Skydives are also available with stunning views.

Please contact Extreme Sports Cafe to arrange these Helicopter Skydive Trips. If you don't have a group of skydivers large enough we can work with you to put a package together.

We use the Alouette III Helicopter or the Squirrel AS350B2 for our Skydiving. The helicopter flights are subject to commercial regulations. Therefore all pilots are professional pilots and the helicopter maintenance is fulfilled to the strict requirements of the Swiss FAA.

Our helicopter skydive drop zone is situated at the end of The Zurich Lake in Canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It is located on the southwest slope of Heitersburg, which Reuss and Limmat valleys separates.. The panorama view is stunning. Large meadows all around and a fine hotel near by make it a great location for Skydiving.

Our new center in Victoria has over 40 highly skilled people on staff, all committed to delivering the highest quality of service and expertise and can cater to all levels of skydiving.
Our main operations area has everything a skydiver needs, including a padded indoor packing zone, 12m x 12m undercover creeper area, training harnesses, aircraft mock up, equipment sales, a video editing suite, and aircraft manifest. Tandem Skydive Fiji commenced operations in Fiji on Saturday 29 May ’04 with display skydives at the Outrigger Regatta on Denarau Island.

At present Extreme Sports Cafe and Tandem Skydive Fiji offer novices the opportunities to experience a freefall skydive from up to 14,000 feet over the beautiful Denarau Island. There is also the option to land onto the beaches of participating resorts.

In the future we hope to be able to offer tandem skydives landing at resorts on the Coral Coast and in the Mamanuca Islands.

Tandem Skydive Fiji and Extreme Sports Cafe has put together a highly experience group of skydiving instructors and pilots. They have also employed a number of local staff including a ground co-ordinator, safety officer and guest liaison.

So you can be assured your Tandem Skydive Extperience in Fiji will be a great one...

Come join Extreme Sports Cafe in Hawaii and complete a Tandem Skydive Experience, or learn to skydive with our Accelerated Free Fall Program.

We also welcome experienced skydivers to come and fun jump with us over the beautiful Hawaiian Island. When you exit the plane, the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii is below you. On a clear day it is possible to see the other Hawaiian Islands in freefall. After the canopy opens you will still be able to see much of Oahu.

"Many times Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, Kaena Point and the leeward coast are in plain view. You will also be able to see majestic bluffs, valleys, beautiful beaches, whales and other marine life from your canopy. Tandem jumping provides an obvious advantage for the adventurous spirit who cannot adequately meet the physical or proficiency requirements for the Freefall School jumps. By relying on the Tandem Master's skills, they will still be able to experience the thrill of skydiving. Your friends can watch you smile, hoot and holler from our viewing area."

Skydive Hawaii operates a Cessna Caravan daily at the world's most beautiful drop zone. Skydive Hawaii has always been a teaching facility, but we do have many loyal fun jumpers who share the Hawaiian skies with us. Operating the Caravan gives us a better opportunity to make slots available.
The removal of the tall iron wood trees and hau bushes in 2004 have changed the dynamics at the drop zone. While winds still can get brisk, much of the turbulence is gone and the landing area is 25% wider as a result of the tree removal.
Saturday and Sunday are the best days to come out for "serious" fun jumps. While we do have Caravan slots available for fun jumpers Monday to Friday, most local fun jumpers are at work on these days.
